Development of culturally and linguistically appropriate health education material/classes related to chronic and infectious diseases. Community engagement and outreach. Must be Bilingual English/Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese (Mandarin) health education content in one on one and/or group settings on topics such as Monkeypox (MPOX) or chronic disease.
Must have valid Texas Driver’s License and comply with AP 2-2 policy.

KNOWLEDGE: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Behavioral Science, or a closely related field such as Public Health EXPERIENCE: Two years of experience in Public Health, Education or a closely related field are required. A Master’s degree in Education, Behavioral Science, or closely related field such as Public Health may be substituted for the above requirements. Directly related professional experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Temporary Employees are REQUIRED to be current on their vaccinations. Upon your initial visit to Employee Health, expect to receive a Tuberculosis Skin Test, administration of vaccines that are not up to date, and blood work if needed.
