LaneStaffing is seeking an experienced Facilities Service Technician to support commercial building operations in Houston.

This is a hands-on role for a skilled professional with strong troubleshooting abilities and experience maintaining commercial or institutional facilities.

Important: This is not an entry-level position. A minimum of 4 years of relevant facilities experience is required.

Position Overview

The Facilities Service Technician performs intermediate-level work in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of building operating systems, including:

• Electrical systems

• HVAC systems

• Plumbing

• Mechanical systems

• Structural systems

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and troubleshoot facility work orders

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs

• Complete general maintenance tasks including painting, patching, carpentry, flooring, and fixtures

• Monitor and log readings from critical equipment

• Diagnose system faults and take corrective action

• Work safely using proper tools and personal protective equipment

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum 4 years of commercial facilities maintenance experience

• Valid Texas Driver License

• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds

• Comfortable working from ladders or elevated heights

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Basic computer proficiency for work order systems
